After finishing school in 2007 in Holland Celinde moved to England to attend Oxford Brookes University where she studied Liberal Arts for a year and received a foundation diploma. She then returned to Holland to study Music Theatre at Fontys Conservatory, one of the leading performing arts schools in Europe. Whilst studying Celinde also took part in a summer course at the Guildford School of Acting.
In April 2012 Celinde graduated Summa Cum Laude with a grade of 10+, the highest mark ever awarded at Fontys Conservatory, with her performance of the play 'Night Mother' by Marsha Norman.
Celinde performed as a child actress in different professional shows across the Netherlands including 'Oliver' (Stage Entertainment), 'Annie' (Stardust) and 'Pinocchio' (Studio 100). Whilst in drama school she gained experience in different productions in Oxford and Tilburg including Dorothy in 'The Wiz', 'Lily in The Secret Garden', and 'Tootsie' in 'The Grand Hotel'.
In her final year of study Celinde was cast as the female lead, 'Molly Jensen', in the professional Dutch opening of 'Ghost the musical'. Unfortunately the show was postponed until further notice before it opened.
From 14 January – 15 June 2013 Celinde made her West End debut in the role of 'Fantine' in 'Les Misérables' at Queen's Theatre in London. In 2013/2014 she played 'Jennifer (Jennie) Cavalleri' in the Dutch production of 'Love Story'. Celinde returned to the role of 'Fantine' at the Queen's Theatre in London as of june 16, 2014.
As of September 7th, 2015 Celinde will join the cast of the Phantom of the Opera as the singing sensation 'Christine Daae'.
In 2012 Celinde was awarded the 'Jacques de Leeuw top talent award'.
In august 2013 Celinde sang together with Freek Bartels, Jamai Loman and Pearl jozefzoon at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam during 'Disney in Concert'.
On november 15th & 16th 2014 Celinde joined Chantal Janzen, Simone Kleinsma, Freek Bartels, Stanley Burleson, René van Kooten, Willemijn Verkaik and Carolina Dijkhuizen in 'Musicals in Concert' in the 'Ziggo Dome' Amsterdam.
On july 10th Celinde gave an unique duoconcert with Freek Bartels in the 'DeLaMar theater', Amsterdam.
